Paul Campbell is the CEO for the "Song Embassy Music" which is a boutique production and publishing entity.Â
He is an advocate for music rights holders. In addition a music publisher administrator/educator. He is also a special lecturer in the department of "Entertainment and Management " at the Vocational Training Development Institute (VTDI)on the Papine Campus and lectures special modules on monetizing intellectual property through music.Â
He has extensive knowledge and experience in the music industry through his association with music publishing.
The Song Embassy Music along with its CEO was awarded the "Ubuntu Award" in 2017 for its charitable and humanitarian contribution in music by the University of Technology (UTECH) and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)
Paul Campbell is passionate about the Jamaica Music Industry and his mantra is life skills through music of which he refers to himself as a servant of music practitioners and gives his services on a regular basis by contributing to "Test your Knowledge". Making Money From Your Music is an interactive music online course designed to explain the inner workings of the music business and your music rights.
Students will benefit from an expanded knowledge of the business and will be in a position to register their creativity to the relevant collection management organizations to receive their potential royalties.
Students will be in a position to understand the flow of the global music ecosystem and strategize how to benefit pragmatically from this music collection pipeline.
Music Rights are the basic rights to intellectual property rights through music. It dissects how you earn money from your creativity and the process to maximize your income streams.Â

The course looks at a song and the process to exploit the musical value from the song to earn money. Examples are explored to give the students the kind of income streams that are available from the recordings.Â
Finally there is a question and answer segment that all participants will have to complete in order to successfully receive certification. The questions are based on all the areas of copyright and trademark, the main pillars of the music industry.Â
